SAVE THE DATE! Mid-Northeast Presidents-Elect Learning Seminar (PELS) is a premier learning event for Rotary President-Elects and Assistant Governors.  Mid-Northeast PELS provides the required knowledge to serve as Club President or Assistant Governor, as well as inspiration and motivation.  Mid-Northeast PELS is a 6-District, 300+ clubs learning event, with the atmosphere of a mini-Rotary International convention.  The 2026 PELS will continue to be an in-person event, as it was in 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025.  Our speakers, District Governors-Elect, educators, committee, and discussion leaders all have one thought in mind:  equip and excite Club Presidents-Elect and Assistant Governors for their year of service.  As we draw closer to the event, please be sure to review the detailed agenda, district profiles, and speaker bios on the main menu.

Gift of Life Mission Update - Stories and Inspiration from Sophie's Travels  Sophie has just returned from an incredible journey to India as part of a Gift of Life cardiac mission, where dedicated teams provide life-saving heart procedures for children who otherwise would not have access to this care. Itâs the kind of work that truly embodies Rotaryâs mottoâ"Service Above Self". While in India, Sophie also connected with several Rotary clubs, learning about their local service projects and seeing firsthand how Rotarians around the world are creating hope and changing lives in their communities. Sophie will share stories from the cardiac mission, the people she met, and the inspiring Rotary projects she discovered along the way. The Rotary Club of Secaucus will be honoring Secaucus Mayor and Honorary Secaucus Rotarian Michael Gonnelli and Secaucus Rotarian and VFW Commander Phil Papa with a lavish Gala at La Reggia on Saturday, April 11th at 6 pm. Tickets are $125.00 pp by check and $128.75 by credit card online, which includes a 3% fee. Tables of 10 are $1125.00, a 10% discount. Members and guests can register and pay by credit card on this page. If paying by check make it out to Rotary Club of Secaucus Foundation, and mail to PO Box 1094, Secaucus, NJ 07096-1094.  Payments can also be made at the door by check only. NO CASH WILL BE ACCEPTED AT THE DOOR. A full sized flyer can be viewed on the Home page under Events on the blue Menu bar. Proceeds from this event will support Secaucus Rotary Club charitable causes. **We do ask that you register online, even if you are paying by check, so we can get a head count. The District Rotary Foundation (DRF) is a committee that focuses on promoting and supporting The Rotary Foundation's humanitarian and educational programs. It helps clubs within the district to engage with and benefit from Rotary Foundation grants and initiatives. The DRF also plays a role in fundraising and stewardship of district funds related to the Foundation. Key Functions of the District Rotary Foundation Committee include: Promoting Foundation Programs: The DRFC educates and motivates Rotarians to participate in Foundation programs, including grants and fundraising activities.   Managing Grants: It oversees the application process for District Grants, which support smaller-scale, short-term projects, and may also be involved in Global Grants, which are larger, longer-term projects. Fundraising and Stewardship: The DRFC encourages donations to The Rotary Foundation and ensures responsible management of district funds allocated to Foundation projects. Supporting Club Activities: It assists clubs in identifying and implementing projects that align with The Rotary Foundation's mission, such as those focused on health, education, and poverty alleviation. Committee Structure: The DRFC often includes subcommittees focused on areas like the Annual Fund, the Endowment Fund, PolioPlus, and scholarships. Reporting and Communication: The DRFC chair reports to the district governor on Foundation activities and ensures that clubs are in good standing with Rotary International.
