The Long Hill String Band performs Old Time Music with fiddle, banjo, mandolin, upright bass, guitar, and voice, and sometimes their dancing lumberjack, Woody. Calling all Hunterdon County pop/rock/folk stars!  Are you looking for a place to practice your acoustic guitar skills, and maybe do some singing too?   Our merry band of music makers is open to players of all abilities! This gathering however is for Acoustic players ONLY; i.e guitars, ukuleles, mandolins & banjos. A drummer and/or an acoustic/electric bassist would be welcomed though to help us all stay in time. Chords and lyrics to the songs will be projected on a screen so thereâs no need for you to bring a music stand or tablet. We will be selecting tunes from a song book that includes a wide variety of rock/pop/folk classics. Come and have fun with us as we play and sing along to some of everyoneâs favorite tunes! Mural Battle: Battle of the Walls  This neighborly competition invites two artists to duke it out with pens and markers, for a two hour art-making extravaganza. Our host, OurNaturalState, will choose a theme, and YOU (the artist), will create something, anything, you think portrays that theme in your OWN style.  Winners get their art placed in a highly trafficked area in Flemington, as well as a âbio postâ, and other social shout outs to bathe them in their winnerâs glory. Join us every 3rd Thursday during Sip and Stroll on Stangl Rd in Flemington from June to December for some art, community and fun.
