All are welcome.  Just bring your craft be it knitting, crocheting, spinning, etc., and be prepared to meet lots of fun and interesting people!  We even have mini educational talks on requested topics! Did you know that Flemington has six Little Food Pantries (LFPs)? LFPs are small food pantries that allow community members in need to have open access to food, water, and hygiene items. These pantries depend on the support of donations from people like you! Come together with your community for a monthly food drive to stock four of the pantries. This drive will support the LFPs located at 10 New Jersey Avenue, Flemington DIY (26 Stangl Road), Flemington Presbyterian (10 East Main Street), and Echelon Studio's Personal Hygiene Pantry (27 Fulper Road). Recommended donations: Water bottles Dry goods like box mixes, rice, oatmeal, etc. Granola and protein bars (without chocolate) Coffee and tea Crackers Ramen and pot noodles Instant soup packets Hygiene products (esp. menstrual hygiene products) Individual drink mix packets Shelf-stable milk Packaged or canned tuna and chicken Canned goods and can openers Peanut butter and jelly Please no expired items, open packages, or frozen/refrigerated items. Open Jazz Jams are held he first Sunday of every month. The sessions will provide an opportunity for musicians to play with an experienced band. From 1-2 PM the hosting musicians for the week will play. Other musicians will be invited to sit in and play between 2-5 PM......More

Open Jazz Jams are held he first Sunday of every month. The sessions will provide an opportunity for musicians to play with an experienced band. From 1-2 PM the hosting musicians for the week will play. Other musicians will be invited to sit in and play between 2-5 PM (typically a minimum of 2 songs each, circumstances permitting). With the exception of drum kit and piano, all musicians should bring their own equipment (instruments, amps, drum sticks, microphones, etc.). The sessions will focus primarily on jazz standards and other jazz tunes contained in Hal Leonard Real Books volumes 1 through 3. Newcomers will be coached through the process.  A $3 to $5 donation to Flemington DIY will be required from each musician that plays at the session. Visitors that just want to listen to the music are also welcome to attend for all or any part of the 1-5 PM sessions free of charge. Hey, songwriters: Do you have songs that are half finished? Lyrics youâre not entirely happy with? A songwriting circle is not a performance. Itâs an opportunity to connect with other songwriters, play your song idea for us â whether itâs fully formed or not â and receive gentle, respectful, and constructive feedback. All genres welcome! Please bring a few hard copies of your lyrics to share (theyâll be returned to you). We have a piano available. Donations at the door
