This October, the shadows come alive and the mic goes cold. Fright Lines invites writers, poets, and fearless fans of the macabre to a horror open mic night celebrating the terrifying, the twisted, and the uncanny. Visit Flemington DIY on Thursday, October 30, to share original horror-themed works or simply hang out and enjoy the nightmares. November Photo Capture  24 Hours Photo Marathon - Kickoff Event  Join us for the Photo Capture KICKOFF event - a 24 hour photography marathon! Registered participants will meet at Flemington DIY and have a chance to mingle with other photographers as they await the announcement of four mystery themes. Participants will be challenged to create their images in a twenty four period while considering how to create a visual coherence amongst the themes. Participants are encouraged to begin their photographic adventure at Flemington DIY and continue wherever their creativity takes them. Flemington DIY will be open until 1pm for people to drop in and take a break, discuss and share ideas. Photos taken during this event can be submitted at the end of the month for the projected show.  What to bring: Any kind of camera including phone cameras. Open Jazz Jams are held he first Sunday of every month. The sessions will provide an opportunity for musicians to play with an experienced band. From 1-2 PM the hosting musicians for the week will play. Other musicians will be invited to sit in and play between 2-5 PM (typically a minimum of 2 songs each, circumstances permitting). With the exception of drum kit and piano, all musicians should bring their own equipment (instruments, amps, drum sticks, microphones, etc.). The sessions will focus primarily on jazz standards and other jazz tunes contained in Hal Leonard Real Books volumes 1 through 3. Newcomers will be coached through the process.  A $3 to $5 donation to Flemington DIY will be required from each musician that plays at the session. Visitors that just want to listen to the music are also welcome to attend for all or any part of the 1-5 PM sessions free of charge. Friday, November 7, 2025, 10am-12pm $15-30 per student, ages 12-18 Flemington DIY and Raritan Learning Cooperative are collaborating to offer a print club for kids ages 12-18, for this one-off youth print club â perfect for homeschoolers and friends! Bring a design and a t-shirt or anything you want to print on. Youâll get to learn the process of screenprinting, create your own screen, and print posters and shirts! If you plan on attending, please send an email to [email protected] so we can reserve a place for you and make sure your design will transfer well to screenprinting.

They always delicately straddled the border lines between interwoven scenes, trying on Midwest emo, jangly singer-songwriter, anthemic rock, and twinkle guitar before settling somewhere in no manâs land with their own sound and a âweâre a punk bandâ shrug. After a decade-or-so hiatus, Ginger, Matt, and Mike got together again in 2024. With rejuvenated energy and a concerted ânot a reunion bandâ effort, theyâre playing some select dates in support of their soon-to-be-released first album in 14 years.
