When doing your spring cleaning, please keep in mind the upcoming Library Art Auction. We will take donations of your clean, framed pictures, prints and paintings. Please put your name and your purchase price if known on the back. These unwanted treasures may be just what someone is looking for. All proceeds benefit the library. Donations will be accepted right up to the start of the auction, which will begin Monday, June 23rd. Bidding will take place from June 23rd – July 5th at 2 p.m. We anticipate over 50 pieces of beautiful artwork to bid on. Most pieces start at just $5 or $10. There will be a wide range to select from with many different themes. Spread the word and lets get these masterpieces on display in your home!

We invite you to join us for a historical presentation as Independence Park VIP, Milton Wiest, weaves the tale of the beloved Centennial Bell and discusses the local connection to the Declaration of Independence.  This presentation is open to all community members ages 8 and up.  Please let us know if you can join us by registering here.

Summer Movies

Join us every Tuesday in the summer for movie day!  We will show a G-rated movie at 12 p.m. and a PG-rated movie at 5:30 p.m.  Full schedule is available at the library.

Toddler Time

Join us every Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. for Baby & Toddler Time. Parents and children 0 – 36 months old are welcome to enjoy a song, story and craft.

LEGO Club

Join us on the fourth Wednesday of every month at 3:30 p.m. to build the LEGO creation of your dreams. Parents and children from K – 6 are welcome as we explore different themes for your LEGO masterpieces.

Story Time

Join us every Thursday at 10:30 a.m. for Story Time. Parents and children 3 1/2 – 6 years old are welcome to enjoy a short story and craft.

The Haddon Heights Friends of the Library is excited to offer a limited Art Series for kiddos aged 9-14. This is a 6 session series where young artists will be introduced to a different art theme and technique each session. Age restrictions are firmly set for this series. Each class is $10 each and all supplies are provided. Classes will be led by our Artist in Residence, Gianna Intrieri, a recent graduate of Moore Art & Design. Gianna will present a brief power point highlighting an art movement or various artists of a particular style, then lead students in creating their own masterpieces.Registration and payment are required in advance for each class and booked as individual classes. Registration can only be done in person at the library for the classes and space is limited. Foreign Film Night

The library hosts foreign film nights on the fourth Thursday of every month at 5:30 p.m.  A complete schedule of films is available at the library.

Game Night

Join us every Friday night as the library meeting room transforms into an arcade. Children of all ages are welcome to join us as we play different games on the Xbox One and the Nintendo Switch. These weekly gaming sessions run from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
