The Kearny Public Library is pleased to offer the kickoff program in its series of Garden Thursday Concerts at the Main Library, as we welcome back The Florian Schantz Jazz Combo at 1:00 PM on Thursday, June 26. The Florian Schantz Jazz Combo was formed in 2012 by then 9-year old Florian Schantz. Since then, the band has delighted audiences in numerous venues in the greater NYC Area and in Germany. They will be returning to the KPL for the seventh year in a row! You will have another chance to catch them later in the season as well, as they join us for our annual Oktoberfest program in September. Please join us for this special event, free of charge and open to all interested. Also, take some time to visit the Kearny Farmer’s Market, located on Garfield Avenue right next to the library, which is open every Thursday from 12 NOON to 6 PM throughout the Summer and Fall.
