About Us
Founded in 1972, The Lakeside Choraliers, based in Montvale, NJ, have shared over 150 charity concerts at nursing homes, veterans’ homes and adult Senior Centers over the years, as well as performing yearly at local churches. Composed of men and women of all ages from Bergen, Passaic, Morris and Rockland counties, The Lakeside Choraliers perform music that encompasses classical, Broadway, Pop, Multicultural and Folk. Its repertoire includes Bach’s "Magnificat," Pinkham’s "Christmas Cantata," Shaw’s "Many Moods of Christmas," Benjamin Britten’s “A Ceremony of Carols” and Brahms’ "Requiem." In addition to its Christmas concerts, the Choraliers take pride in being known as the only choral group in the area that presents their popular and unique "revue-style" spring concert. The community minded choir also performs at least two concerts a year at assisted living homes and donates a portion of its concert ticket sales to North Jersey Meals On Wheels.
