Their works highlight pieces created on the grounds of several county parks, including the Dogs of Smithville Park, at local farms, at the Burlington County Farm Fair, and at their favorite spots along the Jersey Shore. Smith Machine Company thrived until 1969, but was the dream of the ideal industrial village ever fully realized? Did the couple’s love for each other survive scandal and politics?
