About Us
The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution is a nonprofit, nonpolitical women’s volunteer service organization with over 175,000 members worldwide. Founded in 1973 the Ledgewood—Succasunna area chapter chose the name Ferro-Monte to honor the early area iron ore miners whom worked diligently to provide cannon balls to the Continental Army during the Revolution.
