This program focuses on broad, transferrable skills, including and understanding of heating, air-conditioning, refrigeration and ventilation industry, and demonstrates elements of the industry such as planning, management, finance, technical and production skills, the underlying principles of technology, and health safety, and environmental issues. Learners should obtain EPA certification prior to leaving school in order to be employed in any job that requires work with refrigerants. Instruction includes a combination of classroom theory and practical experience.

Join CNY Emerging Artist Carla Stetson as she takes you through her gallery pieces on display at the Cayuga Museum and Schweinfurth Art Center. This is your chance to ask questions and get a sense of Carlaâs inspiration for her show âUntamed.â The Artist talk will begin at 5:30 PM at the Cayuga Museum and conclude at the Schweinfurth. Admission to both Museums is free from 5 â 7:30 PM, refreshments will be provided at both sites.

Explore the possibilities of basketry techniques for sculpture. Using variations on traditional wire basketry, twining, and coiling with soft materials, students will learn multiple weaving techniques to make everything from small baskets to large scale installations. Particular attention will be paid to pattern and line quality in 3D work. Ways to include found objects and methods for turning a wide variety of upcycled materials into woven sculptures will be covered, as well as how to incorporate sculptural basketry into your other art making practice(s). No fiber or basketry experience necessary

A charming, happy-go-lucky bandit in old Arizona plays cat-and-mouse with the sheriff trying to catch him while he romances a local beauty. The first Western with sound-film featured an all-Movietone soundtrack thanks to the work of the Case Research Lab! Andrew Patrick Nelson, Chief Curator of Western Spirit: Scottsdaleâs Museum of the West, will join us virtually as our moderator to introduce the film and lead a Q&A afterwards.   Admission to this program is free, although donations are greatly appreciated.   This film is part of the âIn to the Sunsetâ Western Film Series at the Cayuga Museum.

The instructor will point out important information in the Commercial Driverâs Manual and review practice test questions so students become familiar with how questions can be worded on the actual test. CDL trucks will be available for students to see first hand the topics covered, providing a better understanding.

Welcome to our Swing into Spring: Dancing for the Stars of Tomorrow event! We encourage all levels of dancers to attend this fun packed, dance filled, music driven, wonder of an event featuring the Stock Market Swing Band. This event will include: Live MusicDancingLite FareA raffle with one Grand Prize and other great prizesFun for everyone!Please wear your best dancing attire (that means shoes, too) and be ready to dance in support of our education programming at Auburn Public Theater. What does your attendance and contribution mean? Obviously, it means the world to all of us at Auburn Public Theater but, more importantly, it means that we can afford to help students pay their tuition to attend our summer camp programming, buy new instruments for music classes, and pay teachers and staff for their time teaching your children to learn, grow and flex their artistic talents.
