The Buffalo History Museum is proud to welcome Carol Crossed, President and Founder of the Susan B. Anthony Birthplace Museum, for a special commemoration of womenâs suffrage. Crossed will present a unique collection of 100-year-old suffrage postcards from her personal archive, featured in her 2019 publication Vintage Tweets. Her presentation highlights the most widely circulated cards, exploring themes such as suffrage, abolition, and temperance, while offering a fascinating look at the artists behind these historic images. Enjoy a tour of our Pan-American Exposition inside the Museumâs State Court.  âReturn to the Rainbow City: Buffaloâs Pan-American Exposition,â recounts the story of the fairâits planning, construction, and legacyâand features a variety of Pan-Am artifacts, paintings, and photographs. The display includes nearly 100 Pan-Am keepsakes â from cups and mugs to paperweights and playing cards â that souvenir manufacturers created for the fair. Learn about the exhibits, the shows, and the people that drew 8 million visitors to our city.  Investigate the attractions and turn-of-the-century innovations that still impact Buffalo today. The tour lasts one hour, costs $15 ($6 for members) and includes a souvenir map guide. The tour begins promptly at 11AM. Tickets can be purchased here.

Join The Buffalo History Museum, Buffalo Olmsted Parks, The Friends of the Japanese Garden, and Music is Art in Buffaloâs favorite springtime tradition! Celebrate inside The Buffalo History Museum and outside in the Japanese Garden with cultural displays and activities.  Learn about bonsai, origami, folk dolls, and Kanazawa, our sister city in Japan at activity tables inside the Buffalo History Museum. Enjoy Music is Artâs 3 stages of live music in the Japanese Garden. Stroll in the garden and take a ride on the pink boats on Mirror Lake. Grab something to eat from the Food Trucks.
