Through this course, you will be introduced to basic Japanese phrases for greeting, ordering food, shopping, and other aspects of daily life. We will try to speak Japanese as much as possible, throughout the class. The class focuses on speaking Japanese, rather than reading or writing Japanese. Join us as we explore the development and use of color theory in art and in Renaissance, Impressionism, and Modern Art, but also the use of symbolism used by artists and even in television and movies. Join us as artist and professor Chris Vivas goes through color and all it means, plus the exciting history of how certain colors came into being. Part II: Monday, July 7th, from 6:00 pm-7:30 pm Take a deeper dive into the use of color! Color's symbolic use in movies and television has an amazing impact on story-telling and playing with our emotions. Join us as professor and artist Chris Vivas explores symbolism in the use of color in art, film, TV, and advertisements along with origins of colors, uses, and outstanding facts about color in the art world and yours!
