Join us as we explore the development and use of color theory in art and in Renaissance, Impressionism, and Modern Art, but also the use of symbolism used by artists and even in television and movies. Join us as artist and professor Chris Vivas goes through color and all it means, plus the exciting history of how certain colors came into being. Part II: Monday, July 7th, from 6:00 pm-7:30 pm Take a deeper dive into the use of color! Color's symbolic use in movies and television has an amazing impact on story-telling and playing with our emotions. Join us as professor and artist Chris Vivas explores symbolism in the use of color in art, film, TV, and advertisements along with origins of colors, uses, and outstanding facts about color in the art world and yours! Participants can sign up for single classes and receive a complete lesson or sign up for the entire program and build upon these lessons to create a more varied skill set and a library of art they create themselves. No that is not a typo...Improv is a fun and interactive experience that takes us out of our daily routine and relieves stress through laughter. Improv is the art of performing without any prepartion and without using a script. Sounds scary, right? Well, it might be if you were doing it all by yourself. However, you are not alone. Everyone in class will be given a chance to particpate in theater games and improv scenes based on suggestions taken from the group that are acted out by 2-4 group members at a time. There are no mistakes; the goal is to have a laugh and enjoy the moment. So, sign up today and take a step out of your comfort zone into a world of fun. CMOR Cardholders only, class size is limited.
