NSCSD is operating on a two-hour delay schedule to provide teachers with dedicated time to review mid-year student benchmark data. This work supports instructional planning and helps staff identify appropriate instruction, intervention and enrichment opportunities to best meet the needs of all students. Elementary Schools/UPK Classes: Open at 11:00 AM NSEEP: No school for morning students. Full-day students start at 11:00AM. Afternoon students start at regular time.  Middle School: Open at 10:00 AM Junior High: Open at 9:30 AM Transportation Similar to an emergency delay day, buses will arrive at bus stops two hours later than their regular schedule.

Families of preschool students receiving special education services are invited to attend a Coffee Connection focused on the transition from CPSE to CSE services. NSCSD school psychologists and Maria Gill from the Mid-State Family and Community Engagement Center will provide information and answer questions as children prepare to move to kindergarten. Free childcare, coffee and dinner will be provided. Free children’s books for all families. Raffle for a Barnes & Noble gift card.
