One Heart Band is a good vibes rock and reggae band that plays covers of The Beatles, The Grateful Dead, Bob Marley, the Stones and more! Family fun for all ages; dancing and hooping encouraged.The Parks and Recreation Department, Bethlehem Public Library, and Friends of Bethlehem Public Library are once again teaming up to host the popular “Thursdays in the Park” event series! Sign up for a spot in BPL's new series, Let Me Explain, and talk about something you're passionate about.How it works: Each event will have a select number of topics to choose from (with provided ideas if you're not sure where to start). You submit your topic to be approved. Then you create your very own PowerPoint/Prezi/Google Slides presentation. One week before the event, submit your presentation. At the event, you'll be given up to 10 minutes to present your topic.Topics for June:TravelingIdeas include (not limited to): Touristy spots are the best spots (or vice versa). Relaxing at a resort is the only reason to travel. It's okay/not okay to eat at McDonald's in a foreign country.Music and/or MusiciansIdeas include (not limited to): Pop music all sounds the same. Stop asking people to name five songs to prove they're a fan.
