NOTICE OF SPECIAL SCHOOL DISTRICT MEETING OF THE VOTERS OF THE NORTHERN ADIRONDACK CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT THE BOARD OF EDUCATION OF THE NORTHERN ADIRONDACK CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that pursuant to a Resolution adopted by the Board of Education of the District on October 22, 2025, a special meeting of the qualified voters of said Northern Adirondack Central School District in the Counties of Clinton and Franklin, State of New York, will be held in the Middle/High School Cafeteria, 5586 Route 11, Ellenburg Depot, New York 12935 on December 16, 2025 from 12:00 Noon to 8:00 P.M. prevailing time, for the purpose of voting upon the following proposition: PROPOSITION I Shall the Board of Education undertake a project consisting of the construction of interior and exterior building upgrades, building envelope and roofing replacements, ADA upgrades, environmental improvements, electrical, mechanical and plumbing system upgrades and site improvements to the Northern Adirondack Elementary School, Northern Adirondack Middle-High School and Bus/Maintenance Garage, all of the foregoing to include original furnishings, fixtures and equipment, architectural fees, and all other costs incidental to such work at a total estimated cost not to exceed $38,000,000 and obtain the necessary funds by using up to $750,000 from the 2024 Capital Reserve Fund and, for the balance, the levy of a tax in the amount of $37,250,000 upon the taxable property of the District to be collected in annual installments in the years and in the amounts as the Board of Education shall determine and in anticipation of such tax bonds and notes of the District are hereby authorized to be issued in accordance with the provisions of the Local Finance Law at one time, or from time to time, in the principal amount not to exceed $37,250,000, and a tax is hereby voted to pay the interest on said obligations when due and to pay the principal thereof as the same shall become due and payable? PROPOSITION II If Proposition I is approved, shall the Board of Education undertake a project consisting of (i) the construction of athletic field upgrades including a new all-weather multi-purpose synthetic turf baseball, softball, soccer field with new LED sports lighting, scoreboards, sound, dugouts, fencing, backstops and bleachers and related site upgrades and (ii) the construction of a new, permanent agricultural building (3000sf +/-) on the Middle/High School site including instructional space, toilet facilities, storage, and related mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems including original furnishings, fixtures and equipment, architectural fees, and all other costs incidental to such work at a total estimated cost not to exceed $10,990,000 and obtain the necessary funds by using up to $250,000 from the 2024 Capital Reserve Fund and, for the balance, the levy of a tax in the amount of $10,740,000 upon the taxable property of the District to be collected in annual installments in the years and in the amounts as the Board of Education shall determine and in anticipation of such tax bonds and notes of the District are hereby authorized to be issued in accordance with the provisions of the Local Finance Law and any other applicable law at one time, or from time to time, in the principal amount not to exceed $10,740,000, and a tax is hereby voted to pay the interest on said obligations when due and to pay the principal thereof as the same shall become due and payable?
