Join us for a series of 8 engaging music workshops at the Greenburgh Public Library, presented in partnership with the Music Conservatory of Westchester. Designed to foster creativity, connection, and community, these workshops invite all adults to explore drumming, singing, and songwriting in a supportive and inclusive environment. The program will culminate in a final concert celebrating the music, friendships, and vibrant neurodiverse community built throughout the series. Attendees who require assistance should be accompanied during the program.This project is made possible with funds from Arts Alive, a regrant program of ArtsWestchester with support from the Office of the Governor, the New York State Legislature, and the New York State Council on the Arts.

The Medicare Annual Open Enrollment Period (October 15-December 7) is the only time when everyone with Medicare can make changes to their health and drug plans for the coming year. Visit the Senior Benefits Information Center (SBIC) at the Library to receive, one-on-one, individualized counseling about the latest Medicare health plan options and prescription coverage to help you choose the options that are just right for you! If you have high prescription drug costs, visit us to learn everything you need to know about the $2,100 prescription drug cost cap and the new Medicare Prescription Payment Plan! Learn more about Fall Open Enrollment options and considerations HERE. Services are provided at no cost without appointment or registration by trained HIICAP volunteer counselors sponsored by the Westchester County Department of Senior Programs and Services who are unaffiliated with private insurance companies. “Both Sides Now” is a show with Christine and Elliot Spero that will lovingly take you on a journey through the music of Joni Mitchell, the Canadian-American singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and painter who is one of the most influential singer-songwriters to emerge from the 1960s circuit. Mitchell became known for her personal lyrics and unconventional compositions, which grew to incorporate elements of pop, jazz and other genres. Be lifted by songs like Both Sides Now, Chelsea Morning, Big Yellow Taxi, Help Me, A Case of You and so many others.As a Duo, Christine and Elliot have enthralled audiences with their passion, musical integrity and diverse repertoire (Christine- piano & vocals /Elliot- world percussion kit /sax) and play a wonderful mix of Latin, jazz, Pop and listening material from writers such as James Taylor, Stevie Wonder, Carole King, Joni Mitchell, Laura Nyro, Beatles, Steely Dan, Roberta Flack, Bill Withers, Burt Bacharach, Sergio Mendes, Jobim, Brazilian classics, Motown songs and jazz standards as well as originals.
