All are welcome to attend.The show will be on display throughout the month of July.Rockland County resident Laurie Peek is an award-winning visual artist with over twenty-five years experience making images. She has an MFA in Photography from Visual Studies Workshop/Univ. Buffalo, NY, and sheâs been a photo educator, photo-librarian, photojournalist and fine artist.Peekâs photography and art have been exhibited widely across the US and internationally. In 2024 Peek was an âInternational Garden Photographer of the Yearâ Finalist, Cambridge Botanic Gardens, UK. She was a âFinalistâ in Photolucidaâs âCritical Mass 2023â and in Klompching Galleryâs 2024 âFreshâ competition. Performances of Son of Zeus are scheduled at Penguin Rep Theatre, a repurposed hay barn located at 7 Crickettown Road. âThe converted barn, circa 1880, has never been more invitingâ (The New York Times). Says Mr. Horn, âItâs theatre so close you can feel it, with comfortable upholstered seats and no seat more than 30 feet from the stage.â The theatre is air conditioned, handicapped accessible, and has plenty of free parking.Shows will take place: Thursday evenings at 7:30 p.m., select Friday matinees at 2:00 p.m., select Friday evenings at 7:30 p.m., Saturdays at 3:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., and Sunday matinees at 2:00 p.m.Tickets are priced at $52 ($45 if ordered by May 27).
