Vito Petroccitto is magic. And we’re not just talking about the way he deftly casts alternating spells on his audiences, moving them either to awe, tears, full-out belly laughs, or all three at once. Armed with his gritty, dirty, swampy telecaster guitar, or his beautiful Taylor acoustic, his crazy-good vocal chords, and more than a touch of genius, Vito has somehow figured out how to do the work of ten men. If he’s not performing all over the Hudson Valley with “Four Guys in Disguise” (the band he co-founded in 1989, voted “Best of the Hudson Valley” for years running), he’s out gigging with his newest brainchild, “Little Rock” a swampy blues and funk, Americana band. In this class you will: *Explore the history and symbolism of candle magick *Learn how candle colors, shapes and tools influence your work *Practice crafting clear and powerful intentions to incorporate into your candle *Be guided though the cleaning, clearing and dressing a candle for your intentions No prior experience is needed –  just bring your curiosity and an open heart.  All materials will be provided, and you’ll leave with the knowledge and confidence to craft your own candles at home. NOTE: THIS IS NOT A CANDLE MAKING CLASS Duration of the class is approximately 1.5 hours.    Please wear older clothing as we will be working with oils and it may be a little messy.   Also, bring a plastic bag to bring your candle home.   Meet Your InstructorNorma Kirby is a practicing High Priestess in the Cabot tradition of Witchcraft. Join CLC and the Alan Devoe Bird Club for a morning of learning new birding skills and contributing to community science.What to expect: We will walk along the Herron Hill trail, which may be icy or snowy this time ef year. We may be stopping and standing still for long periods to observe birds.
