Rose Marie James, "Visions" Art Exhibit Oil Paintings on Canvas Rose Marie James' oil paintings abstract the natural world using the elements of art: line, color, shape and repetition. Attention is given to negative space relationships, and the juxtaposition of colors, to arrive at fluid organic movements. Rose’s work is held in both private and public collections. She has shown with The Buffalo Society of Artists, the Albright Knox Members’ Gallery including their Western New York Show and the Chautauqua Institute’s International Art Exhibition. Her work is represented by Susan Kelley on 1st DIBS and she has shown with Arbor Gallery, Vanda Gallery and Rye Art Center Hallway Gallery in the NY metropolitan area. The Defensive Driving Insurance Reduction Program is a course consisting of a series of films and discussion about driving attitudes and behaviors. It is designed for licensed drivers, but those with permits may attend. Completion of the course may result in a ten percent liability insurance discount to the principal operator as well as a maximum of four points off the driver's violation record. This program is approved by the Department of Motor Vehicles. $45/person; $35 for seniors 65+. Payment will be taken on the day of the class.
