Memoir Writing Workshop Join us in this 4-session workshop and start the journey of telling your unique story! Tuesdays June 3, 10, 17, 24 11:00am - 1:00pm 2nd Floor Meeting Room Many of us want to share our story. Sometimes it’s just for family, sometimes it’s for the world.  Writing a memoir can be an exciting, fun, and transformative journey. Whether you’ve already begun writing, have a story in mind, or are still exploring ideas, this workshop will focus on the craft of memoir writing, gaining valuable tools to help you shape your narrative into the best it can be.    No writing experience is needed, and sharing your work is entirely optional. Memoirs are circulated before each session. There is no in-class reading or writing. Participants must register for the first session the first class Space is limited. A misunderstanding causes his noble act to wrongly escalate into a hostage situation with a political candidate and a TV reporter stoking the drama for their own agendas.   STORM CENTER (1956) Starring Bette Davis, Brian Keith, Kim Hunter; Directed by Daniel Taradash; 85 minutes A small town librarian stands up to local pressure to remove a controversial book from the shelves - on principal, not out of sympathy for its perspective. This reflection on the rights and responsibilities of citizens was a timely response to Anti-Communist sentiment in the 1950s.
