Join historic actor Joseph Smith as he portrays William Floyd, Long Island’s only signer of the Declaration of Independence in 1776 and Stephen Pleasonton, a national hero who saved those documents in 1814. Limited occupancy, donations accepted.

Do you belong to a painting group?  Join us to paint on site in the Lighthouse area. All art work will be on display until June 23rd and for sale with 30% of the proceeds being donated to the Preservation Society.Please call for inquiries.

Learn from Joseph Harris a US Coast Guard veteran stationed at our Lighthouse in 1973 when the light was extinguished. This historic event was the catalyst to form the Preservation Society and saved the Lighthouse in 1986. Limited occupancy, donations accepted.

Lighthouse: Horseshoe Crab Program

Join us this evening to learn about the gentle Horseshoe Crab with a touch tank and a walk down to the bay to watch them at the shore.  Suggested donation $2 per person. Tower open until 8 pm at regular fees.
