Peekskill Community Volunteer Ambulance Corp offers CPR training to the public and healthcare providers. Training includes: Adult, Child & Infant CPR Choking Barrier Devices Bag Valve Mask Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) All in attendance will receive the American Heart Association CPR book and certification card. CPR classes are offered the first Thursday of every month @ 7pm. Please arrive 10 minutes before the class. Space is limited. Reservations (tickets) are nonrefundable. Come and join residents, staff, and community members for monthly family movie nights this summer at The Emerald Peek Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, located at 2000 East Main Street in Peekskill! Bring a your own chair and blankets to enjoy an outdoor movie on our beautiful and spacious lawn (weather permitting). The movie will begin at sundown with complimentary popcorn provided for all attendees. Please note that the movie scheduled for Friday, June 16th has been cancelled due to the forecast for inclement weather. West Point on the March is a thrilling tribute to the power, precision, and pageantry of the military march, performed by one of the nation’s premier military ensembles. The West Point Band is the U.S. Army’s oldest band and the oldest continuously operating unit at West Point, with more than 200 years of history dedicated to world-class musical excellence. Tracing its roots to the field musicians stationed at West Point after the Revolutionary War—when General George Washington established the post in 1778—the band has grown into a cultural institution that educates, trains, and inspires the Corps of Cadets while serving as musical ambassadors for the United States Military Academy and the U.S. Army.
