Blueberry Brook Farm and Resort invites the public to learn more about its new off-site Leadership Development Expedition Experiences, from 10 a.m. to Noon, Monday, May 19 at 6827 Van Hyning Rd. Deansboro, NY 13328. In partnership with Daneli Partners, a leadership development and executive coaching firm based in Little Falls, NY, guests will see how the new Leadership Expedition Experiences can help individuals and teams foster strategic discussions, develop leadership skills, gain clarity, and deeper connections, all while surrounded by the rejuvenating beauty of the Resort. The Leadership Expeditions are offered year-round, with programming for individuals, leadership teams, and executive groups. “Leadership requires space to breathe, think, and dream big,” said Dan Williams, CEO and Owner of Blueberry Brook Farm and Resort. “Blueberry Brook Farm and Resort is where leaders come to get out of the weeds and start building something that lasts. These immersive retreats blend strategy with nature, offering clarity, renewal, and a truly unique experience.” The Open House will feature a guided tour of the Farm and Resort, followed by a workshop led by Daneli Partners on current workforce trends and their implications for organizational leadership. The Rome Chamber is partnering with NYSTEC and IGNITE U NY to offer a FREE workshop for small business owners- Find your Customer: Small Business Marketing Workshop! Join us for a workshop where we will discuss understanding your customer ecosystem, collecting customer data, and how you can take that information to generate sales. We’ll do this by teaching: How to research your audience How to collect data by connecting with your audience through direct outreach How to use that data to develop products, marketing, and strategies that align with your customer base. We’ll jump into what it takes to develop a business plan to successfully get loans for your small business so you can grow and scale. We’ll do this by: Giving you a basic idea of what is needed to develop a business plan based off your customer ecosystem. Providing basic insight into what it takes to grow and scale your business. This workshop will be presented by Diane Borghoff. Diane is a professional in assessing numerous early-stage products, services, processes, and techniques in various domains. Her career spans more than 15 years with expertise building business cases, marketing plans, mentoring Lean LaunchPad techniques and go-to-market strategies. These range from ideating creative, disruptive solutions and navigating intellectual property needs to shape their advancement into the marketplace. She enjoys bringing value to entrepreneurs and small businesses by cultivating key partnerships among industry, academia, and federal and state agencies, leading to both funding and growth.   Diane is co-instructor and mentor for the IgniteU Fellowship Program teaching design thinking to area college students enrolled in the program. She also manages one-to-one consultations with small businesses and entrepreneurs by coaching them with tailored strategies and solutions helping them to navigate the complexities faced by start-ups in their journey towards achieving their long-term goals. Diane is a certified SBA SCORE mentor and NSF I-Corp instructor.   She really enjoys sharing what she has learned through teaching, consulting, mentoring, and coaching.

This complimentary service includes supervision, engaging activities, assistance with personal care needs, continental breakfast, and boxed lunch. This application must be submitted and approved to secure a spot. Caregivers will be notified if their loved one is accepted or not.
