Come enjoy a warm and welcoming morning with us—connect with other like-minded folks and become a part of our Humanist community. Whether you’re an individual or bringing the whole family, you’ll find a place here. We’ll have a delicious spread, including pancakes, sausage, eggs, pastries, and fresh fruit, with options for everyone—vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free. Kids will love our indoor and outdoor play areas, and we’d love to show you around with an open house tour. Plus, you'll have the chance to hear about the exciting programs and activities we have planned for both kids and adults.

Please join us for the Westchester Community for Ethical Culture GAME NIGHT! This event is being cross-posted at the Westchester Community for Ethical Culture, Stamford Board Games, and Westchester Geek Meetup Pages. You can RSVP here, but to get a better idea of the number of attendees you can visit or RSVP at https://www.meetup.com/westchester-community-for-ethical-culture/ We usually have 20-30 people attend each month. Bring your own games or just show up! All ages are welcome, as well as all types of games: social, strategy, word, and card games. We will be providing food and drinks. We will order pizzas and have soft drinks on hand. We just ask for a small donation to cover the costs. We You are of course still welcome to bring additional items, but do not feel obligated. Games we will be bringing to the event include Bananagrams, King of Tokyo, Ticket to Ride, Dominion, Puerto Rico, Settlers of Catan, Captain Sonar, Carcassone, Scythe, Codenames, Pandemic, 7 Wonders, Argicola, Chess and many many others! Multiple people will be on hand to teach the games. We will have games for every age group. We will also have all types of games, cooperative games, competitive games, bluffing games, hidden role games, party games, trivia games, deep thinking strategy games – something for everyone! Hello Stargazers, The Hayden Planetarium at the American Museum of Natural History is unveiling an exciting new show this June 9: Encounters in the Milky Way. According to Hayden, Encounters was developed by a team of astronomers, science visualization experts, and artists. The immersive experience is powered by data from the European Space Agency’s groundbreaking Gaia mission—often called the “billion-star survey.” With unprecedented precision, Gaia has mapped the positions, distances, and motions of nearly 2 billion stars in our galaxy. The show is so data-rich that scientists working on the show uncovered new insights about the distant Oort Cloud, the source of many comets—an exciting example of how art and science can work hand in hand to expand our understanding of the universe. https://apnews.com/article/museum-planetarium-oort-cloud-b0050c65ebff830812b505cdd8c476ec I’ve arranged a group discount for Ethical Culturists in the New York Metro Area to attend the show—which has been sold out since it opened on June 9th. We’ll be gathering on Saturday, September 13th to watch the show together, followed by a picnic in the park where we’ll share our reflections and reactions. Your ticket also includes re-entry to the American Museum of Natural History, so you’ll have the opportunity to explore the rest of the exhibits at your leisure.
