Come enjoy a warm and welcoming morning with us—connect with other like-minded folks and become a part of our Humanist community. Whether you’re an individual or bringing the whole family, you’ll find a place here. We’ll have a delicious spread, including pancakes, sausage, eggs, pastries, and fresh fruit, with options for everyone—vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free. Kids will love our indoor and outdoor play areas, and we’d love to show you around with an open house tour. Plus, you'll have the chance to hear about the exciting programs and activities we have planned for both kids and adults.

MONTHLY GAME NIGHT! Please join us for the Westchester Community for Ethical Culture GAME NIGHT November 14! Bring your own games or just show up! All ages are welcome, as well as all types of games: social, strategy, word, and card games. We will order pizzas and have soft drinks on hand. You are welcome to bring additional items. Examples of games that are played include Bananagrams, King of Tokyo, Ticket to Ride, Dominion, Catan, Lords of Waterdeep, Carcassonne, Codenames, Pandemic, 7 Wonders, Agricola, and many many others! Multiple people will be on hand to teach the games. We will have games for every age group. We will also have all types of games, cooperative games, competitive games, bluffing games, hidden role games, party games, trivia games, deep thinking strategy games – something for everyone! If you plan to come please RSVP on MeetUp so we can get an idea of the numbers. This event is being cross-posted on the Stamford Board Games, Westchester Gaming and Westchester Geek Meetup Pages. We are directing people to mostly RSVP here, but there may be others attending who do not RSVP here. We usually have 20-30 people attend each month. It teaches one how to be in harmony with the world at large. Its emphasis is on letting go, as expressedby the ethical virtues of cultivating one's character, teaching patience, humility, and compassion for all things. It is also a practice teaching harmony with nature and an awareness of balance, both physical and mental. As a self-defense practice, it uses both moral restraint and a nonviolent approach to handling stressful situations in our everyday lives.
