We are an informal group of Woodstockers who want to remain independent as we age. Our goal is to exchange information and provide support to each other so that we can continue to be active members of our community. Staying in Place meets every Monday from 11am-1pm.  We are currently trying out a second meeting time for those who can’t make Mondays (or want to come a second time). We will also meet on the library lawn on Wednesday, from 1 to 3, bring your own folding chair. If it rains our Monday room will be available. All are welcome, please join us!

Pet Cents: A Thinking Money for Kids Financial Literacy Game Players adopt a pet — and take on the financial responsibilities of pet ownership — as they visit various stations. At each stop, players engage in financial transactions spending and receiving money until the timer runs out. Along the way, they are faced with unexpected events that could result in a financial windfall or expense. All transactions are tracked on the player’s Pet Card. The goal of the game is to meet a pet’s needs while retaining as much money as possible.
