Sierra GreenSierra Green was born and raised in New Orleans 7th ward where she began singing in the church choir at the age of 8. The 7th ward is a mecca for talent spawning legends including Jelly Roll Morton Allen Toussaint and Frank Ocean rappers Mannie Fresh and Mia X and film stars Tyler Perry and Sidney Bechet. Hope rings throughout the community. Families are close music is relevant and everyone knows someone who made it out and became famous. Music Art and Talent remain fresh and abundant in the 7th ward and Sierra Green and the Giants are the latest breakout.As a teen Sierra began busking on Frenchmen Street one of the musical centers of the Crescent City which taught her quickly how to keep an audience.  Before long Sierra graduated to clubs establishing the best residency in town playing a couple of nights a week to a packed Frenchmen Street house. In New Orleans when you have the best gig in town the best players gravitate toward you and you eventually end up with the best players in town. Fribush spent several years living in New Orleans playing nightly at historic venues like the Spotted Cat and Preservation Hall. In 2020 Fribush decided to move back to his home town of Greensboro N.C.Born to a musical family Fribush began his professional career at a young age playing a variety of instruments including steel pan and banjo. In 2017 Fribush graduated from the New England Conservatory of Music with a degree in Contemporary Improvisation. During that time he worked with influential mentors like Ran Blake Jason Moran Jamie Saft Dennis Montgomery III Cecil McBee John Medeski and others.Fribush has recently produced and recorded music with Charlie Hunter Adam Deitch Lucius Dori Freeman Ric Robertson MC Taylor Joel Savoy Taylor Meier California Honey Drops and others. Wyatt EllisBorn in the rich music bed of East Tennessee, Wyatt Ellis has quickly become one of the most-watched young musicians in bluegrass music. A devotee of Bill Monroe, Ellis has been mentored by and collaborated with many iconic bluegrass musicians, including Bobby Osborne, Marty Stuart, and Peter Rowan. Wyatt has studied with mandolin masters, composed his own original instrumentals, and transitioned from playing alone in his living room to performing alongside bluegrass legends and Hall of Famers.Ellis’s band includes Gibson Davis (banjo),Christian Ward and Noah Goebel (fiddles), Alex Leach (guitar), and Sarah Griffin (bass). Their performances are often centered around the old-school single microphone. They capture the true spirit of bluegrass while infusing a youthful intensity and virtuosity that sets them apart, creating a unique sound that resonates with bluegrass fans old and new.Ellis was named the 2024 Momentum Instrumentalist of the Year from the International Bluegrass Music Association. In 2024, he also made his solo debut at the Newport Folk Festival, and his band became a fan favorite at major festivals such as Gray Fox, MerleFest, and Big Ears. Ellis has performed many times on the Grand Ole Opry, first as a guest of Dailey and Vincent, and making his official debut as a solo artist at just 14 years of age. In January of 2025, Wyatt released a historic project alongside bluegrass legend Peter Rowan.
