Nurturing Generations brings the NC Making It Work toolkit to life by giving employers an effortless, turnkey way to build lactation-friendly policies and gold standard pumping spaces to support parents returing to work, boost engagement and improve retention. This series is a professionally led, evidence-based program made accessible through grant funding in partnership with Improving Community Outcomes for Maternal and Child Health (ICO4MCH) initiative of the Forsyth County Department of Public Health. The series for supportive employers is meant for organizational leaders and decision makers. Taking place every Thursday in May our lunch sessions will be hosted at the Integenerational Center for Arts and Wellness.   How does this boost your business? Workplace breastfeeding isn’t industry-specific—it’s a proven organizational health strategy that helps organizations of every size retain talent and meet legal requirements. The Making It Work series invites leaders across Forsyth County to learn how to turn best-practice guidance into simple, workable action.

All Chamber members are invited, as well as those who are not in the Chamber, but are interested in learning more.  If you know of anyone who might be interested in joining the Chamber, please invite them to this event! This is also an opportunity for people to meet members of the Chamber networking groups and explore any interest in joining a networking group. The Leads Group Low Country Boil and Social includes a low country boil and silent auction!  If you are interested in providing a silent auction basket, please contact Michaleh Snider.  When: May 8th   Where: Whiskey Taps & Tails (Formerly the PlayGround)   Time: 6:00-Until Low Country Boil  Suggested donation of $10 per plate   Each leads group will provide 2 silent auction baskets!    Participate in the 50/50 Raffle!   ALL proceeds go to House of Hope Piedmont!

We are so thankful that you have made plans to join us for our monthly Chamber Meeting!  We want you to get the most out of your time with us, and whether this is your first meeting, or your 100th, please read all the details below regarding our meeting policies.  We appreciate your cooperation!   MAY MEETING DETAILS Meeting Date:  May 12 RSVP Deadline:  May 7 (Registration is required for all attendees, regardless of lunch order) Speaker:  Kevin Powell, Entrepreneur and Owner of Krazy Kevin Powell Motorsports Caterer:  Honky Tonk Smokehouse Center of Attention:  South 23rd Sponsor of the Month:  Mosquito Authority CHECK IN POLICIES Official Check-In Time is 11:20 AM; meeting is from 12 - 1 PM. CHECK IN!  Whether you ordered lunch or not, please let us know you arrived to ensure we have accurate records. Check in closes at 12:00 PM. We do not allow Walk-Ins!  Please note that pre-registration is mandatory for all attendees. We are unable to accommodate walk-ins as we must prepare adequately for all guests. We send multiple reminders each month, and our office can assist with your monthly registration for a nominal fee if desired. Space is limited to 170 people; to ensure everyone has an opportunity to participate, we kindly request that you commit to attending once registered, as space is limited. A reminder that RSVPs are essential to attend the monthly Chamber Meeting.   INFOMERICAL POLICIES $5 for 30 seconds Limited # available Sign up window starts at 11:30 AM (new policy, effective August 2025) We do not allow pre-meeting sign-ups   LUNCH POLICIES Cost: $16 per person. Payment: Payment is due at the time of registration. Ordering Deadline: Lunch orders must be placed by the RSVP deadline to provide an accurate headcount to our caterer. Meal Availability: The LCCC does not order extra meals beyond registered requests. Non-Refundable/Non-Forwardable: Ordered lunches are valid only for the month of registration. If you are unable to attend the meeting and did not notify the Chamber office before the RSVP deadline, your lunch fee is non-refundable and cannot be transferred to a future meeting. Leftovers: Any leftover food is donated and not available after the meeting ends. Supporting Members: By ordering lunch, you directly support our valuable restaurant and catering Chamber members.  Out of respect for our caterers, no outside food is permitted. Dietary Accommodations: Due to the meeting format and our caterers' selected menus, we cannot guarantee options for specific dietary needs, including gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, or vegetarian meals. Pre-Paid Lunch Plans: Annual pre-paid lunch plans are available. Please contact the Chamber office if interested. All pre-paid lunch plans will automatically include meeting registration.   GUEST POLICIES Chamber Meetings are a Member Benefit. Not-Yet Members are allowed to visit ONE Chamber Meeting ($20) before joining the Chamber; lunch is included with your registration.   OTHER NOTES / RECOMMENDATIONS / POLICIES Bring lots of business cards! Wear a name tag! If you would like to bring a door prize, just let our welcome committee know at the registration desk. Overflow parking is available at Clemmons First Baptist Church (3530 Clemmons Road, Clemmons). We might take your picture and put it on social media!
