Jocquelyn Boone, Chief Creative Economy Officer for the City of GreensboroCreative Grounds: Cultivating a Thriving Economy Jocquelyn is the Chief Creative Economy Officer for the city of Greensboro. She’s been leading Creative Greensboro, the city’s office for arts and culture for a little over one year. Prior to heading this office she most recently served as a senior director for the Baltimore Office of Promotion and the Arts, a quasi-nonprofit cultural organization that supports the city’s creative economy. As senior director she led the Arts Council for the City of Baltimore for five years. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from Johnson Smith University and Master’s in Fine Arts in film from Howard University. Jocquelyn has an extensive background in nonprofit management, arts administration, teaching, and programming. Jocquelyn is committed to elevating the work of the creative sector of Greensboro.
