EPIC Toss Cornhole Tournament | Saturday, November 1st | 10 Am | Whitford Plantation in New Bern Grab your partner, bring your game face, and join us for the EPIC Cornhole Tournament! A morning of friendly competition, fun, and purpose! Whether you're tossing bags like a pro or just in it for the fellowship and food, this event is for YOU. All proceeds directly support The EPIC Center’s mission to empower women and families facing unplanned pregnancies with compassionate, life-affirming care. Why Play? Compete for prizes and bragging rights Help provide free pregnancy services, parenting classes, baby supplies, and more to families in need Be part of a movement that celebrates life and offers hope Every toss helps us walk alongside women from the moment of crisis to long-term stability. Together, we are building a culture where every mother is supported, every child is cherished, and every family has hope. Prizes: 1st Place: $200 and a cornhole set 2nd Place: $100 3rd Place: $50 Warm-Up: Participants can arrive an hour early to practice. Don’t forget to bring a lawn chair for a comfortable viewing experience. Registration is open until 9:30 AM the day of the tournament. You must register by October 10th to receive your event t-shirt.

We cordially invite you to attend a Ribbon Cutting to celebrate the Grand Opening and New Location of:  Goshen Medical Center, Inc  Goshen Medical Center is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) committed to delivering high-quality, affordable healthcare to individuals and families across Eastern North Carolina, regardless of their ability to pay. With a network of more than 35 established sites and multiple mobile clinic units, Goshen provides accessible, patient centered care that bridges both rural and urban communities. Our comprehensive services encompass primary care, pediatrics, women’s health, dental, behavioral health, and pharmacy, each designed to advance whole-person wellness and promote health equity throughout the region. In alignment with our mission to expand access to quality healthcare, Goshen Medical Center is honored to announce the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony of our newest facility in New Bern, North Carolina. This clinic offers comprehensive primary care and family medicine services, reflecting our sustained commitment to addressing the needs of underserved populations while strengthening collaborative partnerships with local schools, community organizations, and employers. Our newly established facilities are designed to foster an integrated model of care, combining advanced medical services with a compassionate team that prioritizes trust, accessibility, and cultural responsiveness. Through our mobile health units, Goshen extends outreach initiatives such as flu vaccinations, preventive screenings, and wellness education to schools, businesses, and community events, effectively bringing “wellness where you are.” The upcoming Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremonies will serve as private celebrations of these organizational milestones. Attendance will be limited to invited guests, including members of the Board of Directors, city and county officials, and key community stakeholders. These events are intended to express gratitude for the local partnerships that have made these expansions possible and to underscore our shared commitment to improving health outcomes and access to care across North Carolina. Although these ceremonies will not be publicly promoted, they represent an important step forward in Goshen Medical Center’s ongoing growth and dedication to community well-being. Our mission remains clear and steadfast: to ensure that every individual, regardless of circumstance or means, has access to the quality healthcare they deserve
