Need to decide if we will go to the January or February meeting. February meeting is TBD. From Wendy: "We can offer a few of you to come and speak at one of our meetings if you would like to. We always have a new class added each year and they may not be familiar with Rescue Ranch and the community it serves. You are welcome to 5-10 minutes to speak at one of our meetings about Rescue Ranch and what opportunities typically arise. Individuals could possibly sign-up independently for things outside of our NCL offered RR opportunities. They may have other family members or friends not involved with NCL, that they could share your information as well. They could help spread the word about camps offered, parties and events, etc. You could share the RR website, have an email sign-up, share social media or if you have other ideas to share. We have December, January and February as available meeting months open to offer you a chance to speak. I believe it’s usually toward the end of our meetings, roughly 4:15pm or so. If you are interested, I will look up the exact dates of the meetings. We could also tie in a group volunteer opportunity at the meeting if there something that we can make, like critters enrichment toys or anything else you can think."

Students will paint and assemble bird houses and plan more animal interviews at school. Students are researching native birds that might use the birdhouses, food they eat, and designs and colors that may be attractive to the birds. The animal interview students (2 groups of 5) are researching animal facts about the 3-5 animals they would like to interview as well as preparing scripts for the interviews.

Team building days of 4-5 people at a time until about 20 employees have served one day at the Ranch. "I have an awesome group of people who have varying skill sets. My goal is to put Teammates together that work in different parts of the marina, to have a team building experience. As well as to offer my Team a different experience that takes the monotony out of the workplace, while doing something to benefit the community. Also, our busier days tend to be Mondays and Fridays, if possible mid-week would work best for us, but I can work around that if necessary. The dates do not need to be consecutive; it would probably work better for my scheduling purposes to spread the days out a little. The marina is open 7 days a week year-round, that is why I need to send a few at a time, I still need people here."
