  ACCESS of Wilmington, Inc. will host its 2nd Annual Sounds of Freedom Benefit Gala Concert onFriday, September 25, 2026, from 7 to 11 p.m. at the historic Brooklyn Arts Center, located at 516North 4th Street in Wilmington. The evening will feature a headlining acoustic set from Nashvillerecording artist Belles, with special guest opener Folkstone String Band.This year’s gala carries special significance: following her Grand Ole Opry debut, Belles willperform “Son of Jolene,” her duet with the late country music icon Dolly Parton — her final recording. In addition to live music, guests will enjoy a silent auction, food, and libations in a celebrationthat supports Project SOAR, ACCESS of Wilmington’s adapted sports and recreation program, asit celebrates its 10th anniversary. Proceeds from the gala will directly benefit Project SOARprograms for Veterans with disabilities and first responders, recognizing the critical role adapted sports, recreation, and community play in healing and quality of life. “Project SOAR was built on the belief that all veterans and first responders deserve the chance toheal, connect, and thrive through sport and recreation,” said Paula Crozier, Executive Director ofACCESS of Wilmington. “As we celebrate ten years of this program, we’re honored to bring Belles to Wilmington for an evening that celebrates music, community, and the memory of DollyParton, whose generosity inspired so many.”  Tickets are ON SALE NOW for Sounds of Freedom! Harmonic Breath is coming to Wilmington for a special three-hour guided breathwork and live music experience at the Brooklyn Arts Center. Led by breathwork facilitator Wael Shukha with original live music by Simon Raphael, this immersive journey combines rhythmic breathing with instruments such as didgeridoo, handpan, guitar, percussion, and live looping. The experience is designed to help release tension, quiet the mind, and reconnect you with your inner rhythm. No previous breathwork experience is needed.
