Our programs will offer high-value learning opportunities, facilitate the exchange of expertise, and address the critical business challenges faced by women entrepreneurs. Through targeted initiatives, we aim to strengthen the regional economy by supporting the scalability and sustainability of women-owned businesses. Membership in this council is exclusively open to women business owners who are current members of the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce. The Hannah Block Historic USO/Community Arts Center will be THE place to celebrate Veterans Day 2024 with a 1940s style USO Show & Dance to honor Southeast North Carolina veterans. The one night only event will be Friday, November 7, 2025. Tickets are $20, on sale at wilmingtoncommunityarts.org or 910-341-7860. This very special evening is presented by AARP, Southeast North Carolina Veterans Day Parade Committee, and Thalian Association Community Theatre to remember the men and women who served our country. Concessions including wine and beer will be available. All proceeds benefit the Historic USO Building Preservation Fund. Relive the sounds of the 1940s, hit songs, famous performers, and unforgettable dances with an original USO Show! The fun starts at 7:00 pm with a free swing dance lesson from Cape Fear Swing Dance Society. The USO Show will begin at 7:30 pm but dancing will continue nonstop until 10:00 pm. The USO Show will feature songs from the most famous vocalists of the 1940s with a special tribute to The Andrews Sisters, known as The Sweethearts of the Armed Forces Radio Service.

The Carolina Panthers are excited to invite our Chamber members to join us for our 2025 Carolinas Chamber Day! The event is scheduled for Sunday, November 9 and will feature the game between the Carolina Panthers & the New Orleans Saints. Tickets are $80 each and include admission to the networking event, breakfast food and beverages (including 2 complimentary drink tickets), a game ticket, and a Panthers notebook to take home.     The event will begin with early access to the stadium for the networking event and will be followed by the game: 9:30 AM – Check in begins – you and your guests will use the South Silver Club Entrance next to the Ticket Office 9:45 AM – Networking event begins in Club Level** 11:00 AM – Gates open for the game  1:00 PM – Game begins **There will be a Networking Bingo activity at the event to encourage networking among guests. The winner of the bingo will receive two pregame field passes for the game that day! Additionally, they will be having a raffle with prizes such as pregame field passes, Panthers swag, etc. To join the raffle, guests will be encouraged to bring their business cards and drop one of those into our raffle bowl. The Wilmington Chamber of Commerce recognizes that resilient, efficient, and secure supply chains are fundamental to our local and statewide commerce, economy, and the overall standard of living in our community. To address the critical challenges that threaten the stability of our supply chains—ranging from infrastructure investments, security threats and economic volatility to production issues and workforce shortages—the Wilmington Chamber is launching a Supply Chain and Logistics Council. This council aims to bring together leaders from the local industry to collaboratively tackle these issues and support industry growth. Our goal is to create a robust and collaborative network that enhances supply chain resilience, drives economic growth, and sustains the prosperity of Wilmington’s business community.   VOLUNTEER INDUSTRY LEADERSHIP The Supply Chain and Logistics Council will be led by volunteer co-chairs including Brian Clark from the North Carolina State Ports Authority, Michael Braddock from Frontier Scientific Solutions, Laurie King from NFI Industries (formerly MCO Transport), and Shawn Synnestvedt from Confluent Logistics.   ELIGIBILITY FOR PARTICIPATION Our Supply Chain & Logistics Council aims to gather a diverse group of stakeholders, including port personnel, freight forwarders, customs brokers, shippers, third-party logistics providers (3PLs), carriers, chassis providers, and logistics team members from local manufacturers.   These meetings will be open to both chamber members and non-members within the mentioned industries and roles.
