The Yadkin Arts Council is now accepting submissions for Local Perspective, a community photography exhibit on display in the Welborn Gallery from January 2–February 27, 2026, with a reception on January 8 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. The exhibit invites photographers 18 and older from the Piedmont Region of North Carolina to explore local themes such as culture, people, nature, wildlife, urban and rural scenes, seasonal changes, and local crafts. Each artist may submit one original, family-friendly photograph. Submissions must be emailed to [email protected] by December 18, 2025, including artist name, title, dimensions, location, price, and a JPG or PNG of the photo. Accepted works must be delivered in person to the Yadkin Cultural Arts Center on December 29 or 30, properly framed or gallery ready.
