Join our team in serving food to the hungry!  Cooking/prep/setup shift runs from 10am-12:30pm and the serving/cleanup shift runs from 12:30pm-2:30pm.  This event occurs several days a week via a network of different organizations, but takes place at the St. James Episcopal Church in downtown Painesville.  To join the PUMC team in serving, contact us a few days ahead of time at 440-354-3642.  To serve on a different date contact the St. James Episcopal Church directly at 440-354-3526.

Ideally as viewers continue to watch the newscast overtime they get a much more well-rounded view of everything Madison Public Library has to offer the community.

It’s a commitment to uplift real people through listening to each other’s stories, protecting our vulnerable neighbors, strengthening the goodness we see, and reimagining new solutions for the problems we encounter—together. It’s about responsible care for the people and the place we call home, where change begins at the most local level as we learn to intentionally live hospitably with all neighbors in our community. Toward that end, we will be engaging books that stimulate compassionate care and creative ways to show practical neighborliness locally.

The Jazz Festival is back at Debonné Vineyards! Join us on June 28th at 12:00 PM* for an afternoon filled with smooth jazz music. The event will feature Jazz Fest favorite, Forecast, 2:30PM-5:30PM with an opening performance by Dr. Kalil’s Smooth Jazz Trio from 12-2 PM. This event is closed to the public, and tickets are required for entry. Advance tickets are $20 per person, or $30 at the gate on the day of the event. VIP packages are also available starting at $100, which include 4+ tickets and a reserved preferred table. Seating on the open lawn and tables is first-come, first-served. For ticket purchases or additional information, call the winery at (440) 466-3485, or buy tickets online through the provided link. NEW FOR 2026: Our ticketed Jazz Brunch last year was a huge hit, but caused some confusion over entry tickets. This year, the outdoor Grill will be offering a BRUNCH menu at 11AM for everyone who would like to arrive early to have a bite and get situated before noon. The Grill will also offer their standard menu at noon and continue to serve the brunch options until 1PM or sold out. We hope this option alleviates the confusion and allows everyone to enjoy brunch if they choose!
