Try new foods along with our Winters Test Kitchen Librarians!  --- Welcome to Winters' Test Kitchen.  We will give you a featured recipe and a critical ingredient, but we wont be tied to a country or even a meal.  We might do a dessert or soup or appetizer!  Whatever Sue wants to learn to cook, she will bring you along to create your own test kitchen at home. This month we will be making a fast and easy, restaurant quality Fried Rice Come to the library starting November 1st and ask for your kit at the reference desk.  Supplies are limited to 40 kits.  One per family, please. After you make the recipe, take a picture of your finished product and share it with us. We will feature it on our local Facebook page. For Adults 18+. Please one kit per household as supplies are limited.

Pick up a take and make kit and try something new!   -- Stop at the reference desk and ask for your kit.  Kits are available on a first come, first serve basis while supplies last!  One per person please.

Practice dinner etiquette for Thanksgiving with Charlie Brown and friends. Then, we’ll feast! Gr. K-5; reg. required. --- Do you know how to properly wash your hands? How to say please and thank you, and pass the peas? Learn these skills and more with the help of Charles M. Schulz's Peanuts gang. We'll bring it all together to enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving meal, Snoopy style: buttered toast, popcorn, pretzel sticks, and jelly beans. The party ends with a showing of A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving. This program will be held at the Bellbrook Presbyterian Church @ 72 W Franklin St, Bellbrook, OH 45305.

For grades 7+. — Our Teen Advisory Board (TAB) helps us with cleaning, putting together craft kits, planning teen programs, completing different projects around the library, assisting with programs, and SO MUCH MORE! We use our monthly meeting to discuss the upcoming calendar over snacks, but our TAB volunteers have opportunities to help out all month long to earn their volunteer hours. Registration is encouraged, but not required! Why volunteer at your library? Give back to your community!  Earn service hours for graduation and other organizations you're apart of.  Boost your resume and college applications with soft skills like communication and organization. Girls Who Code Clubs are spaces where everyone is invited to join our group of supportive peers and use Computer Science to change the world. When you join a Club, you will learn by reading excerpts from our books Learn to Code and Change the World and The Friendship Code, practice new skills by completing fun and simple online coding tutorials, and build community through interactive activities with the rest of your Club.  Our 3-5th Grade Clubs help build the foundational skills and understanding of computer science concepts and sisterhood through a reading discussion and coding activities.
