The Senior Library Lanes Wii Bowling League will meet every Monday from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm at the Walbridge Library starting January 26 through May 4.Teams of two will be scheduled to bowl against another team in a one-hour session, playing two games during that time.At the end of the season, all participants are invited to a celebration banquet on May 4, where we’ll gather to reflect on the fun and friendship of the spring season.A full schedule will be provided once registration is complete. Registration is required. To register, sign up at the Walbridge Library front desk. Once the league is full, additional registrants will be placed on the substitute list.

Join us to meet author Robin Kimmerer on Saturday, March 28 at 10:00 am at the Veteran’s Memorial Building in Bowling Green City Park. Robin Wall Kimmerer is a mother, scientist, decorated professor, and enrolled member of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation. She is the author of The Serviceberry: Abundance and Reciprocity in the Natural World, Braiding Sweetgrass: Indigenous Wisdom, Scientific Knowledge and the Teachings of Plants and Gathering Moss: A Natural and Cultural History of Mosses. She lives in Syracuse, New York, where she is a SUNY Distinguished Teaching Professor of Environmental Biology, and the founder and director of the Center for Native Peoples and the Environment.This event is free and open to the public. The classes are available at no cost to adults who want to improve on basic math and English skills in order to obtain a high school equivalency, enter post-secondary education, or prepare for additional workforce training. Penta will prepare students to take the Official GED Test. Penta provides free practice test vouchers for enrolled students.Registration is required and orientation is mandatory.
