Do you love puzzles, like we love puzzles? Grab your friends and register at any of four GCPL branch locations (Bainbridge, Chardon, Geauga West, Middlefield) for a timed puzzle competition. Patrons who would like to sign up for The Great GCPL Puzzle Tournament may stop by or call any branch. There is a maximum of up to 12 teams with 4-6 players per team who will compete to be the first to complete a 500-piece puzzle. You will be asked to provide a Team name, leader's name and phone number, and the name of each team member. As all four branches will be using the same puzzle, patrons may only compete at one branch. Registration begins on Monday, December 15 at 9 am. The winners of each of the four branch competitions will earn a spot in the final tournament at the Bainbridge branch on Sat., February 28, 2026. This is the mandatory training session for the embroidery machine in the Geauga County Public Library Maker Space. The training session includes a presentation, training videos and Q & A; live demonstration of the machine is not included. The embroidery machine can embroider beautiful, complex designs on T-shirts, polos, sweatshirts, dresses, pillow covers, blankets, towels, bags, and more. Learn the basic steps to use the embroidery machine to create your own one-of-a-kind items. All ages welcome to attend the training session. Children under 12 need a guardian with them to use the embroidery machine. The guardian must also attend this training before helping a minor with the machine. If you will require assistance, the library recommends finding your own assistant, who must also attend mandatory training before working in the Maker Space. Must have an active Clevnet or Geauga County Public Library card to sign the user agreement at the end of the session. This is the mandatory training session for the UV Printer. The training session includes a presentation, training videos and Q & A; live demonstration of the machine is not included. Learn how you can print on fabric, plastic, wood, glass, candles, notebooks, and more.......More

This is the mandatory training session for the UV Printer. The training session includes a presentation, training videos and Q & A; live demonstration of the machine is not included. Learn how you can print on fabric, plastic, wood, glass, candles, notebooks, and more. Learn the basic steps to use the UV printer so that you can create your own one-of-a-kind items. All ages welcome to attend the training session. Children under 12 need a guardian with them to use the UV printer. The guardian must also attend this training before helping a minor with the machines. If you will require assistance, the library recommends finding your own assistant, who must also attend mandatory training before working in the Maker Space. Must have an active Clevnet or Geauga County Public Library card to sign the user agreement at the end of the session. Reservations to use the machine cannot be made until after the user agreement is signed. Click the link below for the written tutorials for this specific equipment for reference.
