Machines include: 3D scanner, Cricut Maker, direct-to-garment printer, embroidery machine, heat press, large format printer, laser engraver, and vinyl cutter.Although no training is necessary to use the sewing machines, staff can help with the sewing machines as well.Staff are happy to answer questions, offer suggestions for projects, and find resources for you during this time. The Digital Legacy Lab is a free do-it-yourself space to convert your physical materials to digital files, preserving your important documents and memories for the future. Each DLL is comprised of equipment and software for digitization projects, including 8mm and super8 film scanners, photo and document scanners, vinyl record and cassette recorders, microphones, and VHS tapes. Digital Legacy Lab Orientations are available at least once a month to provide an introduction to the Digital Legacy Labâs equipment and the process of digitization. The orientation is lecture-based and does not include hands-on training with any equipment. Additional individual support is available during consultation hours with the Digitization Specialist.Registration is required.

No registration required.The staff member will be available to answer your questions.You must take the mandatory training and sign the user agreement before scheduling a session in the Inspiration Station. Machines include: 3D scanner, Cricut Maker, direct-to-garment printer, embroidery machine, heat press, large format printer, laser engraver, and vinyl cutter.Although no training is necessary to use the sewing machines, staff can help with the sewing machines as well.Staff are happy to answer questions, offer suggestions for projects, and find resources for you during this time. Staff will not help with design or do any project for you.

NOTE: This training takes place at the Chardon Creativity Center makerspace located inside Chardon High School (369 Maple Ave, Chardon, OH 44024) not the Chardon Branch. For assistance locating the makerspace doors, please call 440-285-7601 ext.2552.This is the mandatory training session for the large format printer/cutter available at the Bainbridge Branch and at the Chardon Creativity Center. The training also covers the heat press as it works well with the printer. The large format printer/cutter prints banners, posters, stickers, and heat transfer vinyl for garments and bags. Use the heat press to attach any heat transfer design from the printer on to your chosen shirt, sweatshirt, apron, bag, or other fabric. Learn the basic steps to use the large format printer/cutter and heat press so that you can come to the Bainbridge branch or the Chardon Creativity Center and create your own one-of-a-kind items.All ages welcome to attend the training session. Children under 12 need a guardian with them to use the large format printer/cutter and heat press. The guardian must also attend this training before helping a minor with the machines. If you will require assistance, the library recommends finding your own assistant, who must also attend this mandatory training before working in the Geauga County Public Library maker spaces.Must have a Clevnet or Geauga County Public Library card to sign the user agreement at the end of the session.Click the link below for the written tutorials for this specific equipment for reference.Registration is required
