Crafts, Chocolate, and Cheer! Main Street Delaware to Host Feb. 6 Crafty Crawl, Feb. 7 Chocolate Walk DELAWARE, Ohio – You’re invited to come savor everything downtown Delaware has to offer during two Main Street Delaware can’t-miss February events. Feb. 6 First Friday, Crafty Crawl: The Crafty Crawl invites the community to experience a creative First Friday in downtown Delaware. Participating businesses will host mini craft pop-ups, both kid- and adult-friendly activities, and craft-themed drinks throughout the evening. The event will be held on Friday, Feb. 6, from 6 to 8 p.m. A complete list of participating businesses will be posted at www.mainstreetdelaware.com as well as Main Street Delaware’s social media. Feb. 7 Chocolate Walk: Tickets are available now for Main Street Delaware’s annual “Chocolate Walk,” which entitles ticket holders to collect sweet treats from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, at participating downtown Delaware locations. Only 250 Chocolate Walk tickets will be sold for the event, which has sold out every year it’s been held. Pre-sale Chocolate Walk tickets are $30 each and are available online at www.mainstreetdelaware.com/chocolate-walk-tickets. Day-of tickets, if any remain, will be available beginning at noon Feb. 7 at the Delaware Welcome Center, where ticket purchasers will check in for a list of participating locations and goody bags for treats not eaten right away. Registration will wrap up at 5 p.m., but you’ll have until 6 p.m. to collect your sweet treats! The decadent downtown Chocolate Walk is sponsored by The Modern Maid and Converse & Associates LLC.

The Annual Supervisor Six Pack 100 Series Does your business rely on supervisors who were good performers who were promoted into leadership role? Have these individual contributors been trained and coached to be effective supervisors? Could your technicians help you grow your business if they had the skills to be better leaders? The Supervisor Six Pack - 100 Series provides six 2-hour sessions to expose your supervisors and leads to fundamentals required to transition from a technician to an effective leader for your business. The program includes: -  January 12 -  Seven Roles of a Supervisor -  January 19 - Establishing Yourself as the Leader -  January 26 - Common Purpose –Moving Everyone in the Same Direction -  February 2 - Communicating for Understanding -  February 9 - Dealing with Conflict -  February 16 - Planning Work and Activities Cost: $250 per participant* ($325 for non chamber members) *Four or more from the same business will receive a discounted price of $200 per person. (Must call to register.) Participants will be expected to complete program exercises between sessions that apply to their job. Successful participants will receive a 100 Series Certificate.
