The Lima Young Professionals is a diverse group of business leaders, 40 years of age or under, committed to building relationships and retaining talent among the young professionals in the greater Lima area.  The Lima YP seeks to give Lima's Young Professionals a voice in our community, our businesses, and ultimately in our future. The Lima YP offers members access to other young professionals, community leaders, and businesses throughout Allen County.  Through the variety of events and programs we host throughout the year, our members grow personally and professionally making valuable business and social contacts. You Are Invited to Attend Allen County Ag Hall of Fame 2025 Induction Banquet Honorees to be Inducted into Allen County Agriculture Hall of Fame Presented by  These honorees, Jim Hefner, John and Mary Rudolph (Rudolph Foods), Walter Paxson, and the Allen County Agricultural Society will be inducted by the Lima/Allen County Chamber of Commerce into the Allen County Agricultural Hall of Fame presented by Nutrien, during an evening banquet on July 10th at the Veterans Memorial Civic & Convention Center in Lima. The Allen County Agriculture Hall of Fame is celebrating its 13th induction class. According to the Chamber’s agri-business committee chair Russ Decker, “Our goal with the Hall of Fame is to annually recognize local agriculturalists that have been instrumental to the success and excellence of agriculture in Allen County, either as a farmer or in an agricultural-related field. All of our 2025 inductees truly reflect the award’s purpose of honoring and giving public recognition to those who have brought distinction to themselves, have made outstanding contributions to their professions, and whose community involvement has served as a stimulus to others.” 100% of all ticket proceeds will be donated to the Allen County Junior Fair. Morning Coffee Connections Start your day off right by joining us for Morning Coffee Connections, an engaging and energizing networking event tailored for young professionals! ☕ When: Thursday, July 17, 2025 📍 Where: One Ship Coffee This informal morning gathering is the perfect opportunity to: Connect with like-minded peers in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Build your professional network and foster meaningful relationships. Share ideas, insights, and opportunities over a fresh cup of coffee. Whether you're looking to expand your network, collaborate on new ideas, or simply meet other driven professionals, Morning Coffee Connections is the ideal way to jumpstart your day. Don't forget to bring your business cards! Registration is not required. The Lima YP meets twice monthly, once for either an after-hours event called H.Y.P.E. (Helping Young Professionals Engage) or Morning Coffee Connections, and once during the day for a professional development luncheon.  They coordinate a community event each year for young and old to come out and enjoy a great time.
