Bring ALL the kids to Story Time! Everyone is welcome to hear the stories, but for play time, the bigger, school-aged kids head off for age-appropriate activities with Ms. Deb. We call this Sibling Shenanigans! The goal is NOT to trample any toddlers!When the weather allows, we have Story Time & Sibling Shenanigans outside. Please check our Facebook (@lplibrary) at 9am to know whether Story Time will be held outdoors that day! If not, we'll be indoors in the meeting room and Wiseman Discovery Center for Story Time, and Conference Room A for Sibling Shenanigans.We'll give you plenty of warning if we plan to do water play, so you can bring towels. Some shade is available, but sunblock is recommended.Ms. Lori & Ms. Sarah lead Story Time with songs and dancing, plus the precious shaky eggs! Sometimes, Sir Murphy the service dog comes! Often, there's a craft! Then we play with sensory equipment. Trade cards, play the game, or just hang out and talk Pokemon! All experience levels are welcome. If the weather is nice, we might meet outdoors on the Aljancic Family Patio, on the east side of the building. Look for signs.On the first Monday, we will take a supervised walk around the park, playing Pokemon GO! We will have a limited number of devices for kids to use.On the last Monday of the month, we'll do Pokemon Pancake Art! Create a pancake version of your favorite Pokemon with colored batter.
