About Us
Every parent needs support sometimes! The Parent Support Initiative provides parenting classes, coaching, seminars and workshops free to Knox County Parents. We help you learn tools to be the confident, consistent and resilient parent you want to be. When you connect with your children you help them to be confident, resilient and control their own emotions in a positive way. The Parent Support Initiative is funded through the generous leadership of the Ariel Foundation, with additional funding support from the United Way of Knox County, the Knox County Family and Children First Council, and the Knox County Substance Abuse Action Team, with funding from the federal Drug Free Communities Grant of KSAAT under lead agency Knox County Head Start.
