Free planetarium shows every Monday and Thursday at the Clark Planetarium at 7 pm.  Located inside the Advanced Technology Center on the campus of Shawnee State University, the Clark Planetarium is a large room with 66 seats under a 10 meter domed projection screen. The key piece of equipment in the planetarium is the Konica Minolta Mediaglobe I/II digital projection system. The Mediaglobe is a state of the art digital projection system utilizing a single fisheye lens for complete 360x180 degrees of immersion.

These outdoor community events bring artists, music, art activities and more to the Art District of Portsmouth. Artist tables will be found along the Esplanade and sidewalks, with artists selling and sharing their art. Live music will be on the Esplanade stage, various free art activities will be running, artists will be doing live demonstrations of their work, and a prize raffle will be held for participants who visit the locations along the Art Walk. An updated google map of all locations along the walk will be available. Participating area businesses will be offering specials and hosting art. These events are free and open to the public!
