The City of Green Parks and Recreation is pleased to host Knit for the Needy! This group makes afghans and other "warm items" for those in need. When: Every Tuesday. January and February are weather permitting.. Where: John Torok Community and Senior Center Time: 1 pm to 3 pm Cost: Free and open to all! Yarn will be provided, however, participants will need to bring their own knitting needles and/or crochet hooks. Items Being Made Members are encouraged to make any items that they would like, such as: Blankets, Gloves, Hats, Mittens, Scarves Patterns for various items will also be provided. Donations If you cannot attend during this time, the City of Green will still gladly take any donations of completed warm items and/or yarn.
