Pick up free lunch and snack supplies for kids ages 0-18 for Spring Break.  Food will be distributed at the library Sunday, March 22 from 12pm-2pm, or while supplies last. Any extra items will be made available at the front desk after the distribution event.

Walk On! Gold Beach, the library’s walking group, welcomes community members to join them for their outings on Thursday mornings at 10:15am. If you would like to participate, contact Margaret Ostrowski, [email protected] to opt-in for an email about the meetup location of the coming week’s walk. The group has explored in-town walks, sometimes starting at the library, but has also ventured to the Frances Shrader Old Growth Trail, the Jim Hunt Birding Loop, and several segments of the Rogue River Walk on Jerry’s Flat Road. Walks are casually paced (slow enough to pick up litter) and not too strenuous. Well-behaved dogs on a leash are welcome.
