Teens are invited to bring a friend and drop in to the teen room at the Grants Pass branch anytime between 2 to 4 p.m. the third Saturday of each month for Teen Game Day.The library will provide Harry Potter Trivia, Exploding Kittens, Disney Villainous, and a standard deck of cards to choose from. Early literacy stations in Grants Pass Talk, sing, read, write, and play! Pre-kindergarten children and their parents/caregivers are invited to join us after the weekly Morning Storytime and Craft to practice the five early literacy skills through play. At each self-directed hands-on station children can practice activities including letter recognition, rhyming, and drawing on a magic board.

The library has partnered with the Public Health Department to bring storytime to local families participating in the Women Infants and Children Program (WIC). Library volunteers will provide storytime at the Public Health Department during WIC Day from 9 to 10 a.m. the fourth Thursday of each month. In November, storytime will be held on the fifth Thursday of the month due to the Thanksgiving holiday. The Josephine County Health Department offers a variety of services to community members, including: family planning services, women's health care, immunization, and HIV prevention. Learn to download e-books, format a resume, edit a photo, and moreThe library is now offering a range of technology-related assistance at all four branches of Josephine Community Library in Grants Pass, Illinois Valley, Williams, and Wolf Creek.During Friday Tech Time, library staff and volunteers are ready to help answer technology questions and assist with:Downloading e-books.Navigating the Internet.Formatting a resume.Email set-up.Editing a photo.Facebook and other social media platforms…and more.
