Onsite Training Confirmation Toby, Amy, Keith, Fred, and Renee, good afternoon! We are excited to confirm your onsite training session at Klamath Falls City Schools with Cheryl Thompson, one of our talented Professional Learning Specialists. The Getting Started with Imagine EdgeEX training will be held:   August 25, 2025 9:00 am - 4:00 pm, Pacific time (Lunch break planned from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm)   Klamath Falls City Schools Professional Development Center 1336 Avalon Street Klamath Falls, OR 97603   We are expecting approximately 20 participants at the session. To help ensure a successful and effective set-up, here are some additional suggestions: Your trainer will be onsite prior to the session, so please have a local technician or someone available to assist with any technical troubleshooting at that time. All participants should be able to login to the platform prior to the session. If you need assistance with this process, implementation leaders can contact Lauren Nelson, who is copied on this email. Please remember there should be a maximum of 30 participants per session. All participants should have access to a computer with internet connection during the training. A projector or interactive whiteboard with speakers is beneficial for the presentation component. If possible, we recommend having your district or school’s implementation lead begin the session with an overall vision of the plan to implement the program. If your session includes multiple product lines, we highly recommend that participants only attend for the product line they will be utilizing to ensure the best use of their time. Please let us know if adjustments are needed to fit your specific implementation needs. In the event that you need to cancel your session, we ask that you let our team know as soon as possible. Our policy regarding cancellations and no-show sessions can be found below*. If you have any questions or concerns in the meantime, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. Subject: Save the Date – August 26 Secretary In-Service Good morning, Secretaries! I know many of you are eagerly counting down to the last bell of the school year—and the word “in-service” may be the last thing on your mind right now! But please take a moment to mark your calendars for Tuesday, August 26, for our Secretary In-Service. If your contract doesn’t start by that date, don’t worry—you’ll be paid to attend the in-service. Fred and I are currently working on the agenda and will share it with you in early August. In the meantime, keep an eye out for a ThoughtExchange survey coming soon. We’d love your input to help us shape the schedule and make sure the day is meaningful and well worth your time. All secretarial and office paraprofessional staff will be part of this inservice. This survey is through a program called ThoughtExchange which allows you to add your ideas (please add at least 5) and then rate other ideas. These ratings are anonymous but they are important because they allow us to determine which ideas are the most important to the group. Please rate at least 15-20 thoughts as this will allow us to taylor the inservice to your needs. Depending on the results of the survey, we may have an elementary inservice and a secondary inservice. Please complete this survey by then end of the week. Come back often to rate other ideas. Thank you for all you do for KFCS.
