Fun event for the whole family! Sunday, May 1710am-3pm Celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage at The Westmoreland with a day of cultural discovery and creativity. Enjoy performances by Tuika’s Polynesian Island Magic, the Xiaobo Waist Drum Dance Group, and the OCA Performance Ensemble. Explore hands-on activities for all ages, including a cultural experience where you’ll receive a flower and learn how to wear it according to Hawaiian traditions. Contribute to a community wish tree, try Chinese calligraphy, and create reflective art in our outdoor Zen garden. Begin with a lively reception featuring hors d’oeuvres stations before gathering in the Cantilever Gallery for an unforgettable dining experience surrounded by Benjamin’s striking works. The evening’s décor, menu by The Common Plea, spirits, and entertainment are all inspired by Benjamin’s style and creative vision. We will also honor Gavin for his contributions to contemporary art, with guests receiving an exclusive chance to win one of his artworks in a special raffle.
