You're invited to join Superintendent Dr. Frank Ranelli, members of the Lower Merion Board of School Directors, LMSD staff and administrators for a community discussion about device usage in our schools.The discussion will be held at Harriton High School on Monday, March 23, 2026, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. This will be an in-person only event to facilitate meaningful conversations among participants.This event is open to LMSD students, parents, guardians, staff and community members. Participants will have an opportunity to share their perspectives about the use of technology in schools, learn about the District's "Off and Away" protocols, and understand how the expectations of "Off and Away" impact the elementary, middle and high school levels.To assist in logistical planning and framing an agenda responsive to community priorities, each attendee is asked to register and fill out this planning survey prior to March 16, 2026.

LMSD students in third through eighth grades who have siblings with special needs are invited to join "SibShops," a series of fun, supportive zoom sessions just for them.Led by LMSD counselors Lisa Ruzzi and Deb Wilson-Leslie, the hour-long Wednesday night zooms will provide a relaxed and upbeat setting, where participants can: * Meet other siblings* Share common joys and challenges* Learn ways to handle tricky sibling situations* Play games, do art activities, and have fun! The six Wednesday night sessions will run from 5:00-6:00 p.m. beginning February 18, 2026. Consistent attendance is encouraged.There is no cost to participate, but you must register by emailing Ms. Wilson-Leslie at [email protected] . Other important notes: * Students should be able to use Zoom independently* Privacy and confidentiality are essential and will be reviewed in the first session* Families should provide a quiet, distraction-free space so participants can talk comfortably
