Oct. 10-Nov. 7Join with Saxonburg Coffee & Tea and South Butler Library to collect non-perishable, non-expired food items.  All food will be donated to the Lighthouse Foundation of Butler County Food Pantry.  Here's the list of suggested items to donate:  Box of instant potatoes, box of scalloped potatoes, cranberry sauce, applesauce, Broth -chicken, beef, vegetable, stuffing, bread crumbs, crispy fried onions, Muffin - Cake - Brownie Mix, cooking oil, pie crusts, shelf stable milk, canned fruit especially pineapple, canned pumpkin, cans of cream-based soups, cans of yams, bottles of juice, can openers, pineapple corers, apple corers, and new reusable grocery bags.

Saxonburg residents can cast their ballots for the 2025 Election at the Library from 7:00am - 8:00pm. A large parking lot is located behind the Library with 2 handicap spaces near the door.  Our front parking lot has 1 handicap space and just a couple of other parking spaces.  Voters can use either the front or rear entrance, whichever is located closest to their parking location.  Voting takes place in the Meeting Room located in the center of the building in the blue room.The library will continue normal operations and events while voting is underway.

Book to be discussed: To be announced Read the selected book for the month.  Then come to the library to enjoy a wine pairing from Heritage Wine Cellars that reflects the book as interpreted by the book selector.  Discussion of the book provides everyone an opportunity to rate the book and share their insights on the book. Copies of the book are available for checkout at the library 1 month in advance of the book club, usually at the prior month's book club. New readers always welcome to join the discussion and share their opinions about the book.  All group members are invited to take a turn selecting a book for one of the monthly book clubs, and then lead the discussion on the book.   Ages 21+ for this event.  Registration is preferred but not required.  Call to register 724-352-4810
