The environmentally friendly way to deal with yard waste is to compost you leaves and brush right on your property. If you choose not to compost, West Rockhill Township will be accepting yard waste (garden residues, shrubbery, leaves, tree trimmings and similar material but NO GRASS CLIPPINGS on the last Friday of each month from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Public Works Building. Please place yard waste in paper bags or bring loose material to be emptied into the container. No plastic bags will be accepted. Branches and tree trimmings must be cut to 4’ (four foot) lengths.

The West Rockhill Historical Society is holding its 10th annual          Electronic Waste Recycling Event Saturday, November 1, 2025 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Township building   For $10 per car, the following will be accepted WITH no Additional Fee! Any Small or Medium Sized Items with a Plug Including: Computer towers, tablets, printers, keyboards, laptops, game consoles, stereos and radios, cell phones, phones, calculators and small appliances (toasters, blenders, food processors, dust busters, etc).   Additional Vendor Disposal Fees – Computer Monitors ($7), Microwave ovens ($15), Flat Screen TV’s ($25), Air Conditioners, Dehumidifiers & Air Purifiers ($25), CRT Monitors ($25), CRT TV’s ($40 - $80), Mini Fridges ($25). Check with the Board of Elections for deadline dates at 215-348-6169. Forms for voter registration or an Absentee ballot can be obtained from the Township office, the Bucks County Board of Elections, The Bucks County Voter Registration Office (Courthouse, 2nd Floor, Broad & Court St, Doylestown, PA, 18901), post offices, state liquor stores, libraries, or the League of Women Voters and political parties.
